Animal Activities

At Fall for Fairfax KidsFest, guests may take a horse-drawn hay ride through the beautiful grounds of the Fairfax County Government Center. Or enjoy a pony ride. Or meet dozens of animals at the festival’s Petting Zoo. Or all of the above!

Located on the Ellipse (the grounds at the back of the Government Center), our animal activities are perfect way to experience our animal friends up close.

Hay rides and the Petting Zoo are free for all guests; Pony Rides do have a $5 participation fee.
